EnviroFluidTM Spiral Wire Hose
Gates EnviroFluidTM Spiral Wire Hose is specially designed to handle biodegradable hydraulic uids and other aggressive
oils like synthetic esters, polyglycols and vegetable oils at extremely high pressure and high impulse. The nitrile tube is
tough enough to handle biodegradable uids at operating temperatures up to +121oC without any loss of performance. Additionally, it offers signi cantly lower permeation than Neoprene® tubes when used with petroleum-based oils.
MegaTuff® Hose Covers
Certain Gates High Pressure Hoses are also available optionally with MegaTuff® hose covers. MegaTuff® covers possess superior ozone and weathering resistance and lasted up to 300 times longer than standard covers in hose-to-hose and hose-to-metal abrasion tests as per ISO 6945. Typical applications include mining, injection moulding, quarrying and construction.
XtraTuffTM Hose Covers
ExtraTuffTM is a more economical version of Gates’ robust and abrasion-resistant MegaTuff® cover. Made of special hybrid compounds, the new cover material increases service life, lowers maintenance, and eliminates the need for costly hose protectors such as guards, sleeves and bundling. ExtraTuffTM is 25 times more abrasion resistant than than standard rubber hose coverings.
