A Family Affair


Since Day One, Industrial Ancillaries has been a family affair. Our founder, Ray Harper, remains our CEO, and his Stepson Jamie Dennis leads the business as Managing Director.

Having evolved into one of the UK's leading industrial distributors, we now compete against huge corporations. We do so thanks in no small part to the incredible team of people we have. Whilst we now offer products & services for a huge variety of industries and are launching a host of new initiatives during 2017/2018, we've never lost focus on our people - our family.

We are a proud family-owned business and our staff are part of that - this is our ethos.

Customers become part of our family, so we push ourselves even harder to offer an exceptional level of customer service. To nurture relationships, understand the requirements of our customers, and deliver.

We conduct our affairs with integrity. This is a policy that our founder Ray Harper instilled in the entire team from day one, and which our current Management Team reinforce.

Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience in our industry, indeed many of them have been with us for well over a decade. They are passionate both about our company, the manner in which we operate, about focussing on continual improvement, and about the product that we sell.

Our customers tell us that the level of Service we offer are the best in the industry, and are one of the reasons they are so loyal and supportive of us. Within our friendly & efficient Sales Team each customer account has a named Business Development Manager, supported by a Sales Administrator, that understands the needs and characteristics of each business they look after.

The QHSE Team is another important cog in this wheel, providing a single, easy to reach point of contact should there be any issue with an order or delivery, or should a customer require any details of our Accreditations or Quality Management Systems.

We have a skilled and efficient Finance Department who can take care of any accounts-related enquiries, and process all requests as quickly as possible.

The in-house Marketing Team can offer a range of support services for our customers, whether that be developing flyers for promotional activity, assisting with online ordering, developing branded websites and catalogues, and much more. Get in touch to find out what they can offer your business.

Caring for our customers, suppliers and the world


We are highly conscious of our local community and the environment as a whole, and undertake many initiatives to conserve energy, reduce waste, raise money for local charities and employ local staff.

When we chose our Markham Vale HQ location, we chose this business park in part because of the fantastic initiatives they offered to allow us to reduce our environmental impact - such as photovoltaic panels and rainwater harvesting.

Our Social Responsibility is very important to us, and something we will be working on with even greater emphasis in 2017 onwards.
