Tank Breathers

Breathers are used for tank ventilation to provide clean airflow into reservoirs and other storage containers where there is an exchange of air during changing fluid levels.

In high moisture environments or applications with large changes in machine attitudes, breather caps with pressure relief and vacuum breakers limit air exchange and provide a positive suction head at the pump inlet.

T.R.A.P™ Breather

With Moisture Adsorption and Electronic Indication

• Breather with Thermally Reactive Advanced Protection (T.R.A.P.)

• Deliquescent breather - senses moisture and begins working faster and lasts longer than silica gel desiccant breathers

• Prevents moisture condensation in hydraulic tanks by lowering and stabilising the relative humidity inside the tank, decreasing the dewpoint

• T.R.A.P. media is self-regenerating

• Media efficiency 97% on solid particulate down to 3 µm

• Reversible flow through media allows moisture to exit the tank

• Electronic Filter service indicator flashes when a change out is needed

• Construction: Glass-filled ABS

• Airflow: 45 CFM max.

• Temperature: Effective down to -40°C

• Suits both mobile and industrial applications

• Functions in any orientation

• Low sensitivity to oil mist

• Functions well in environments with high ambient humidity
