Pipe Jointing Compounds

Industrial Ancillaries Ltd stock a range of piping sealants, including brands such as Boss, ROCOL®, LA-CO®, and Stag, manufactured to meet industry standard requirements for safe seals in gas and water plumbing environments.

We can supply BS6956 part 5 compliant and BS6956 part 5 and 6a compliant pipe and gas jointing compounds and pastes.

Gas and Plumbing Sealants

Boss Pipe Jointing Compounds can be employed for hot and cold water, low pressure steam and natural gas piping applications at temperatures up to about +200°C.

• Boss Gastite and Stag Plasticol X10G gas jointing compounds have a temperature resistance of -40°C to +150°C and are recommended for use with town or natural gas.

We are also stockists of mechanical grade WRc approved PTFE tape and gas thread sealing tape to BS778 and BS6974 for reliable pipe sealing in all environments across a wide range of temperatures (-240°C to +260°C) and at high pressures.

• Boss White is a non-toxic jointing compound manufactured to BS6956 part 5 for use with non-potable hot and cold water and natural gas applications.

• Boss Green is a WRc approved potable water pipe jointing compound manufactured to BS6956 part 5 and recommended for use with drinking water applications.

• Stag Type A Red non-settling jointing paste is resistant to gas, steam, water, petrol, oil and mineral acids and is recommended for sealing small joints.

• ROCOL® Foliac Graphite Paste is a non-setting pipe jointing compound that is resistant to steam, water, air, gas and most industrial gases.

• PTFE tapes can be used for sealing all types of pipe: copper, iron, steel, brass, alloys, plastics.

• Betalube Anti Seize Assembly Compound has a temperature range of sub-zero to +1100°C and is recommended for use in the assembly of compression fittings.
